MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new client in Magherafelt. In recent years they have gone from strength to strength and are one of Northern Irelands fastest growing companies.  They currently have an opening for an Accounts Administrator based in their head office. The purpose of the role will be to support the team of finance managers and to assist the busy accounts office.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Match, check and code invoices.
  • Enter and upload invoices onto the system.
  • Prepare supplier payment runs.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records and keep information confidential.
  • Provide administrative support to on-site management on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health and Safety.
  • Observe and comply with all good working practices within the office.

Essential Criteria:

  • Educated to GCSE level or above (including English & Maths – Grade C).
  • Excellent experience of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Effective telephone manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work confidentially and to treat issues with sensitivity.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work.
  • Ability to manage several tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to work flexibly on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy.
  • A willingness to undertake training as required.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience of using SAGE accounts package.
  • Experience of working in a busy office.
