MYM Recruitment are delighted to work along with a great client, The Muff Liquor Company, who have went from strength to strength over the last few years. Due to this growth they are now in a position to take on Company Brand Home Manager, this person will run the operations while the CEO is out of the Country.

Main purpose of the role:

  • Day-to-day management of TMLC ‘Space’
  • Responsibility for the Shop & Tours
  • Leadership of all VC personnel
  • Managing and coordinating with 3rd party Events company
  • Managing and coordinating with 3rd party Bistro operator
  • Supporting the design and theatre of Tours
  • Training Staff
  • Liaising with Café supply partners
  • Liaising with Tour Operators on group tours
  • Championing TMLC Brand Home with Tourism IOI and other tourism organisations
  • Lead business development programme including attending events
  • P&L responsibility for the VC ‘Space’

Day to Day Duties include:

  • Deliver a premium visitor experience to our guests and to grow the sales of TMLC BH across the Shop & Tours
  • Oversee the management of bookings for Tours
  • You will ensure the shop is adequately stocked
  • You will manage and train all staff members
  • You will oversee various tours, experiences & events and ensure smooth running of each session motivating your team to deliver with energy and enthusiasm
  • You will ensure all guests have a great experience and you should encourage them to leave great reviews, tell all their friends and come back for a second visit
  • You will be responsible for regular communication with the tourism industry, hotels and other hostieries
  • You will be responsible for liaising with the 3rd party Event Management Company
  • A key objective for these visits/events will be to grow the awareness of our brand and experience in the market and to organise tailored events for corporate entertainment packages
  • You should garner and keep good relationships within the drinks and hospitality industry in and around NW Coast & Northern Ireland
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the Shop and ensuring the shop team leader is delivering against KPIs
  • You will ensure the Shop delivers great service, value & excellent offerings
  • Working alongside the Managing Director you will be responsible for creating and managing plans and budgets for the Visitor Centre ‘Space’ and ensuring that plans are implemented to help grow sales & awareness
  • You will need to have a high degree of flexibility in order to meet the demands of the role
  • It may be necessary to work out of normal working hours due to the nature of the business and in order to meet the necessary demands of our client base
  • You must be able to adjust to a broad and fluid set of tasks as requirements change in this progressive company
  • Build a network of key tourism/hotels/companies to further sales and build the brand by developing interesting promotions and setting achievable goals
  • Researching new opportunities, creating exciting/themed events and tailored packages
  • Delivering great customer service
  • Conducting training sessions with your team, always striving for improvement
  • Creating full weekly reports for all activities and objectives

Essential Criteria:

  • Management experience
  • Financial/Budget Knowledge
  • Responsible for delivering against KPIs as set out in annual objectives
  • Supporting the Ops manager & CEO in ensuring they deliver the best ROI against activity
  • Responsible for negotiating with Tour Operators & 3rd party Event Company
  • Responsible for negotiating terms with the Shop suppliers and ensuring alignment with TMLC strategy/vision
  • Outgoing/Confident-
  • Identifying where efficiencies and improvements can and should be made within the VC to improve company performance
  • Raising to relevant stakeholders (where necessary) and ensuring efficiencies and improvements are carried out
  • Hospitality Experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A proven ability to interact successfully with a range of customers
  • Skilled in working collaboratively
  • Social media, content creation capabilities
  • Well organised and a highly effective project and time manager
  • Methodical with an excellent attention to detail
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
