MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new client, who is fast becoming one of the leading suppliers in their field throughout the UK and Ireland.  Due to a continued level of demand, they are looking for highly motivated well-driven Customer Service Advisors to join their team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer queries are answered promptly and fully, via both telephone and email.
  • Monitoring, responding, and resolving customer queries on Social Media.
  • Monitoring and responding to customer reviews across various platforms.
  • Calling customers when they request a call back service to answer their queries and resolve any issues.
  • Ensure that all communications with customers are conducted in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Offering alternative solutions where appropriate, with the objective of ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Dealing with transport companies to track deliveries and lost items and where appropriate, to complete claims.
  • Any other Customer service related tasks.
  • Answering and directing calls to the relevant departments.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as requested by your Line Manager.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service or retail environment.
  • Previous experience in dealing with customers, both over the phone and by e-mail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and aiming for excellence in delivery.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, have high standards and be capable of multi-tasking.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.
  • Self-motivated and confident decision-maker with the ability to apply solutions and a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Confident in raising queries in order to optimise a good quality of service to our customers.
  • Ability to be flexible with work duties and hours as required by the team and business.
  • Previous knowledge of the 4×4, Van and Pickup market is desirable but not essential.
  • Working experience of Ebay and Amazon is desirable but not essential.
