MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our sister company Network Personnel. Due to demand they wish to appoint a suitably experienced Employment Advisor to support unemployed clients on the Intreo Partner National Employment Service through barrier identification and resolution, enabling the client to enter sustainable employment.
Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- To manage a caseload of clients on a one-to-one or group setting dependent on the client need
- To carry out in depth client assessments to evaluate job readiness and the appropriate level of support required
- To support clients with job search, applications, the development of CVs and cover letters and interview preparation through both one-to-one and group sessions
- To identify and coordinate a range of recruitment and selection strategies to secure employment for clients
- To be a source of expert advice regarding employer and vacancy expectations
- To liaise closely with all relevant parties to ensure service levels are maintained
- To ensure that relationships are maintained with key internal partners including the Vacancy Facilitator and Branch Manager
- To accurately maintain relevant IT and management information systems
- To adhere to quality processes and procedures and maintain quality client records so they clearly outline the client’s journey on the programme
- To ensure all client and organisational targets/standards are achieved and consistently achieve individual targets and K.P.I.s
- To adhere to and uphold Network Personnel’s Code of Conduct, policies, procedures and values at all times including Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Lone Working, Confidentiality etc.
Essential Criteria:
- Leaving Cert (or equivalent) with a min C or above in 5 subjects to include English.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a recruitment, sales, training or customer facing role.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering high quality customer service.
- Demonstrable experience of having consistently met and exceeded targets in a target orientated role.
- Strong knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Republic of Ireland labour market and the complex issues faced by those who are furthest removed/disadvantaged.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor and develop others.
- Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes or ability to demonstrate alternative method of being able to fulfil any travel related duties of the role
Desirable Criteria:
- Fluency in one or more other language (in addition to English)
