MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our existing Cookstown client.  Established in 1990 they have grown steadily to become one of the biggest manufacturers of kitchen and bedroom doors in the UK and Ireland.  Due to a current surge in demand there is a fantastic opportunity for a Goods in Operative to join their team.  The role will involve working with the goods in department.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Picking and dispatching material to the factory floors.
  • Receiving materials from suppliers and booking onto the system
  • Maintain a high level of Stock control.
  • Manage and maintain specific stock of materials to aide efficient production within the department, replenishing stocks as required.
  • Packing and wrapping pallets for collection.
  • Keeping factories and stores clean and tidy
  • Successful candidates should be motivated and able to work on their own initiative and be accurate in their work methods.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Successful candidates should be motivated and able to work on their own initiative and be accurate in their work methods.
  • Good computer knowledge.
  • Previous warehousing experience/forklift license is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience of a similar Materials/Warehouse environment will be advantageous but not essential.
  • Candidates ideally have Forklift experience however this is not essential as B1 Forklift Licence Training will be provided.
