MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our existing Maghera client who are a progressive company operating in many areas including waste management, environmental maintenance and road marking. Working with both public and private sector clients they deliver major contracts throughout Ireland and UK.  They currently are seeking to recruit an experienced Talent Recruitment Executive who will play a vital role within their Head office.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Proving a high level of administration to oversee the Company HR function.
  • In line with the Company’s overall strategy, you will work with management to identify current and future skill and resource gaps, recruiting the talent where necessary.
  • Absence management.
  • Manage the marketing of new roles to attract the best candidates for each role including managing agencies, referral programmes and social media.
  • Assess talent as part of the interview process to determine the best candidate for the various positions.
  • Ensure new employees are properly inducted embedding practices that help employees become part of the organisation and makes an active shift towards the contribution to organisational goals.
  • Promote awareness through effective communication of career opportunities across company

Essential Criteria:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role.
  • Can demonstrate a fresh, imaginative and innovate approach to:
  1. leading and managing a recruitment/talent function
  2. retention of talent
  3. development and improvement of talent
  • Experience in leading and managing a HR function / department.
  • Competency in HR systems.
  • Current driving licence and vehicle insured for business use.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Third level qualification
  • Experience of working within a busy working environment/services industry
  • A strong working knowledge of employment law issues in Northern Ireland and the ability to apply these to a variety of situations using a pragmatic and common-sense approach.
