MYM Recruitment are delighted to be continuing to work with our client, a newly established bakery business within Mid-Ulster, who are looking for an Industrial Cleaner to join their busy team.  It is an exciting new role to help the efficient operation of the business on the busy bakery floor.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean working environment within the bakery as a whole and specifically the washroom.
  • Ensuring the machines are deep cleaned to a high standard daily.
  • Heaving lifting of trays and bakery equipment for cleaning.
  • Working as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Ensure personal hygiene and food hygiene standards are achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure the cleaning stores are kept clean, tidy and well stocked at all times.
  • To ensure the correct use of cleaning chemicals as outlined by COSHH.
  • Complete all relevant documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  •  Proven track record with good and relevant experience, ideally within a bakery setting.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Manual handling ability and awareness due to heavy lifting.
  • You can work swiftly, efficiently and can work well under pressure.
  • You have a respectful manner who can work well as part of a wider team.
  • You are organised and are good at forward planning.
  • You will take pride in your work and are self-motivated to succeed.
