MYM Recruitment are working with our Kilrea based client who are searching for a Merchandiser to join their team with an immediate start. 

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Assist in the planning and development of merchandising strategies to maximise sales opportunities alongside the Marketing and Sales Managers
  • Curate and manage content on the brands social media platforms
  • Analyse merchandising activity within specific stores and customer groups to ensure promotions are producing the expected results and report findings
  • Recording and reporting customer feedback to relevant managers
  • Recognising and reporting market trends and competitor activity to anticipate product requirements
  • Assist in the implementation of new product launch strategies
  • Attendance at customer trade show and sales events while assisting the Area Sales Manager (mainly Ireland and UK locations, occasionally Europe)
  • Any other duties as required by the business

 Essential Criteria:

  • Hardworking, motivated and energetic attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Good understanding of retail sales.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work additional hours from time-to-time as required by the company.
  • Experience using social media platforms.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
