MYM Recruitment are working with our Kilrea client who are seeking an Office Accounts Administrator for an immediate start.  The purpose of the role will be to further develop and support the full range of activities of the business, including customer development and associated administration.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, statements, ensure receipt of payments and liaise with customers regarding overdue payments. Manage the recurring invoices and support renewals.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to supplier invoices, ensure all invoices are correctly coded for both nominal and VAT, processing and ensuring accurate supplier payments in line with due dates.
  • Maintain supplier and customer details, set up new suppliers and customers. Ensure contact details for both are up to date.
  • Reception duties.
  • Assisting in preparation of management accounts.
  • Monthly sales analysis.

Essential Criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade ‘C’ or above, equivalent (or higher) incl. English Language & Maths related subject.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software system
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi task
  • Experience in working in a high volume and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to take instruction but also ability to work on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A ‘can do’ ‘will do’ attitude.
  • Attentive to detail in relation to quality.
  • Flexible to the needs of the business.
