MYM Recruitment are working with our Draperstown client who are an established and respected healthcare provider in Northern Ireland, the company are currently expanding its coverage to include Ireland and GB and are seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join their vibrant team and support this expansion.  The main purpose of the role is to assist in all aspects of office and business management, as well as providing personal assistant duties to support senior management.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Lead and plan essential support services for the organisation including general office management, secretarial and administration duties reception, incoming and outgoing mail process, efficient distribution of information and accounts.
  • Embed processes with the support team ensuring a consistent approach is taken by team members.
  • Provide a credible & reliable support service to our clients, customers and staff.
  • Diary management, travel arrangements etc.
  • Management of staff start/end dates, staff leave, sickness absences.
  • Organising and facilitating meetings.
  • Assistance in preparation of bid documents, service protocols, presentations and reports
    Capable of identifying areas of business improvement and highlighting these to senior management.

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in similar administrative roles.
  • Demonstration of strong people management and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and develop team performance and standards.
  • You should have an eye for detail, be able to manage your own time and be able to work to deadlines. We are looking for an organised, dynamic, helpful team player who is proactive along with a “can do” attitude and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous experience of working within a professional service is preferred.
  • Excellent IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages.
  • Candidate will need to demonstrate that they can follow processes and work in a high-volume task orientated role.
