MYM Recruitment are excited to be working with our existing Cookstown client.  Due to a expansion, they currently are seeking to recruit an experienced Office Manager for their busy office.  The purpose of the role will be to manage the efficient operation of the full range of activities of the company.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • To manage sales office and administration staff whilst promoting a positive office working environment
  • To manage personnel issues in a professional, respectful and positive manner
  • To ensure customer – internal & external – interactions are positive, timely and accurate
  • To manage and provide relevant updates on estimating, sales, deliveries and invoicing
  • To understand, and communicate to relevant personnel, schedule status and details on gaps and availability
  • To liaise with sales on upcoming and live projects, their pricing and progress and to facilitate the use of relevant software to record and report on these
  • To provide a backup to all processing office functions
  • To maintain and develop a professional and technical knowledge of all products, and ensure updates and changes are communicated and understood by relevant personnel
  • To provide a liaison between sales, pre production, production and dispatch
  • To monitor and progress the implementation of software systems across the office and using external teams
  • To play an active, positive role as part of management team
  • To support and drive Lean ideals through the office environment
  • To promote a positive image of the Company
  • To maintain holiday and sickness attendance records for office staff
  • To play a positive role in supporting maintenance of quality standards such as ISO 9001, FSC, BM Trada, Q Mark certifications etc
  • To undertake other tasks as and when required by the General Manager

Essential Criteria:

  • Good educational attainment including min GCSE/equivalent Mathematics & English.
  • At least 3 years experience in similar role.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using busy telephone system.
  • Experience using various IT systems.
  • Excellent reporting skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage deadlines.
