MYM Recruitment are delighted to be working with our new client, a family run business, now in its 3rd generation. They take pride in their best in class facility which operates to the highest standards in the industry.  Due to a surge in demand, our client is seeking to appoint a Quality Assurance Assistant to maintain, control and improve quality standards throughout the organisation. The below job description is not intended to establish a total definition of the job, but an outline of the duties.

Key Duties/Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Carry out QA audits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and take corrective and preventative action as necessary.
  • Carry out quality bake checks.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding standards, hygiene, compliance etc
  • Ensure all relevant procedures are followed and detailed in work instructions. HACCP and CCP to ensure compliance with legislation, 3rd party and customer standards.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed, accurate, updated and filed accordingly.
  • Involved in and oversee production quality trials.
  • Establish, monitor and revise work instructions as necessary.
  • Behave in a responsible manner showing respect for company property and respect for other members of staff.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Superb computer skills, including database management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management
